If my wait list comes in will I have to order new magic bands? My trip is not till 12/8 and the only thing that will change is the size of the room.

No. The Magic Bands link to your MDE account. There is no reservation info on them.

When/If you get your waitlist, just make sure the new reservation is linked to your MDE account and all will be well.

If the waitlist fills, will the reservation number change, or just the resort information? I'm curious because I check my MDE app on my phone every day to see if it changes the reservation info from Kidani Village to Boardwalk Villas. If it won't show up automatically, I guess I will have to be more diligent about checking the computer.

I have had a waitlist fill and change my reservation and when I checked my MDE account, the old one was gone and I had to re-link the new one, which meant customizing new Magic Bands.

Now, I already have some but working on having all the colors, so I did.

My reservation # did change--not sure why and that could play a role in why I had to re-do it.
