Waitlist ?

Can I call MS and find out how many are in front of me on the waitlist? I'm on the waitlist at both BWV and BCV for November 22-26. I was thinking, if I could find out, of calling soon and then calling in several weeks after that, just to get a feel for what my chances are. What do you think?

They probably can't tell you where you are placed on the waitlist due to way the "list" works.

You can maximize your opportunity for success by requesting an automatic confirmation for ANY of your days which become available. The only danger here is that it's possible to have a missing date in the middle of the reservation.

If you have asked to be called when the dates are available however, they won't contact you UNLESS all the dates open up at the same time. Regardless how early you went on the waitlist, they won't save dates for you until all are available, so you have to wait until someone cancels your exact range of dates.

This far in advance, I think you have a great chance to get all of your dates- either way, but would suggest the auto reserve method to get your dates more quickly.

Thanks! I've always gone automatic route-it's because I'm a school teacher without access to a phone much, teenagers at home, so getting ahold of me isn't easy. And they said they'd only hold the ressies 24 hours if you want phone contact. I'm so glad that by going that route, I've also increased my chances.
