Waitlist ?

Never did a waitlist before.. it this right? I have an existing reservation at AKV for the fall..I called to ask if I could waitlist for BCV or BWV for the first three days..MS told me I had to have enough current points to waitlist. I wanted to have them use points from my AKV ressie..in other words if they came available cancel and rebook . She really confused me.. but maybe I never understood waitlist correctly..

Call back and speak to someone else. Tell them what you want to do and they will do it.There is no problem doing what you want to do.Just tell them to put you on the waitlist for BCV, BWV for the same time as you have AKV.Then when it becomes availible they will cancel the one you have and get the one that is at the other resort.

The potential problem with doing a reservation change without enough points for the second one is that in the brief interval between the cancelling of your AKV stay, and the booking of the new reservation, a night (or more) of the second booking will become unavailable. Then your original booking may be lost if there was a waitlist for AKV on those dates. Granted, it is a small chance, but has been reported.
