waitlist woe's

This is only the 2nd or third time I've been waitlisted and yet again nothing came through! It expired Sunday night, I called yesterday and no availability anywhere near BWV or BC! Unbelievable. I my personal experience, I'm wondering why there is a waitlist to begin with. We've never had good experience with it!

It does come through sometimes - sorry yours didn't - I have had it work for me a few times but what I always say is as long as I am staying at one of the DVC resorts I am HAPPY



Right now we are waitlisting AKV savanna view(mostly for DD and nephew) but have ressies at OKW HH area no matter which one we end up in we are still at WDW

My April waitlist for BWV studio just came through yesterday. This is the first time we waitlisted.

Sorry your waitlist didn't come thru...knock on wood...we've been very lucky & most of the time ours have been filled....

We've been on the waitlist for check in this Sunday the 15th at BW (this is my daughter's trip with some of her girlfriends) for about 5 or 6 months already, and it never came through

But, my DD and her friends are SO excited about their trip, they don't care where they stay, as long as it's DVC and in the World

I, however, am disappointed that it didn't come through, because it never does!

For trip we took with family and DD's friends during week of July 6 we had been waitlisted for 1 bedroom standard for first night but it never came through on waitlist ( we did have a studio at SSR booked for that 1st night but really wanted all rooms/nights over at BWV & not have to bother with 4 of the group moving over to BWV from SSR a day later ). When the waitlist expired I called daily and on Wednesday we did get it (for Sunday) It's frustrating, but don't give up because you never know when that pixie dust will kick in

After a few years of waitlisting for BWV early December with no luck at all, I purchased my BWV points. I was always frustrated as I often read of those having luck with waitlisting but never did work out for me.
