I have some friends going to Disney in early November and myself, DS and DD would like to join them. I got online to book and no studios are available. I have waitlisted. OKW and Boardwalk. I keep checking availability and AKV looks to have more nights available. Would I be better off to change one of my waitlist ? If so where would you stay and AKV?
What are chances a waitlist will come thru? I can not imagine that Disney would be crowded Nov 5-9 - since it is in between parties.

It looks like there's SSR studios available during those dates. Or there is Kidani standard view for three of the four nights. You have a choice, you could book SSR for the whole time. Or gamble and book the three nights at AKV and waitlist for the fourth night (and continue to stalk the Web site like a hawk because there's a better chance you'll find the missing night before the wait list will).

The Food & Wine Festival at EPCOT is still going on during the dates you are looking for. It's a traditionally very busy time for DVC. IMO your best chance for a waitlist coming through will be SSR followed by AKV. OKW is possible but iffy since it takes the least amount of points. BWV & BCV are about as likely to get as pigs flying especially if you are trying for a standard view at BWV. The studios at the EPCOT resorts are the first to fill up during F & W. I booked during the 11 month home resort priority & ended up having to wait list some of my dates. I still am split between Standard View & Pool/Garden view trying to get one more night in a garden view & I keep checking to add some dates at the beginning since my time frame changed from what I originally booked. I have a back-up reservation at SSR. I normally go during the last two weeks of the F & Wine Festival but originally booked for the middle two weeks of October this year. Turns out I need to be there at the beginning of October this year to attend the D23 Sip & Stroll event.

SSR Studio is available now, no need to waitlist.

Usually the first full week of November is "Jersey Week" - NJ public schools are closed 2 days for a teacher's convention in Atlantic City. ;)
