Waitlist updating Guests

Updating Guests does not appear to update waitlist guests and there is no option to change waitlists.

With Covid and all - we are in a position we have never been in - Having to waitlist. Our home resort is BCV and we were trying to book into November 2021 - 2BR - obviously a no-go. We were not able to book a full stay at one resort, so have a couple waitlists going - one to get into one resort and another to stay a few days at a resort we think we would enjoy more. Problem is since the waitlists were created, we've updated guests for our stay (i.e. friends coming with us) and the waitlist appears to have the guests that were on the reservation at the time of making the waitlist. I've updated guests on the bookings, but there is no option to update those guests in the waitlists. Question is whether the waitlists come through, will it automatically keep the guests that are currently booked existing reservations? I'm guessing not. I'm also worrying about whether or not if a waitlist comes through after I've attached DME, Dining Res, park passes, Park Res, FP (if it comes back) - would you lose a res. in that situation? Any experience with this? Or is it just better to cancel all waitlists anytime you make changes to guests, then rebooking them after you make the change to the existing reservations?
 
It doesn’t normally update guests but it’s an easy change if it fills.

You would not lose any of the other things because once you know you have the room, you can just modify guests.

Another option is to chat or email MS and ask them to add those notes to your waitlists.
