Waitlist success!

Just to let those of you know who wait for what sometimes appears to be a lifetime (myself included) on the waitlist, it does work! We will be spending 6/27 & 6/28 at the AKL and then to the BW. We are scheduled to check in at the BW on Sunday 6/29 and would be there until 7/6. On 7/6 we were to go to OKW for 2 nights. We wanted to stay at the BW for the balance of our trip, so we waitlisted the last 2 nights at BW. When I called on Monday 6/16, they said we were no longer at OKW and confirmed that we had been changed to the BW!

I was beginning to think the waitlist wasn't going to work for us! Now we just need to start thinking of what to pack! Boy are we ready for a Disney fix!

So glad the waitlist came through for you. Same here -- we waitlisted for a few nights at the Lodge and in two days, I am Mickey-bound!

We are a waitlist success story as well. Long story but I'll try to make it short, we had 10 days at OKW for a July trip, we decided to cancel before the 30 day mark, we still had air that we might lose so 2 weeks before we reconsidered and decided to go but shortened the trip to save money. The big question now was could we get a room at this late date? We were able to book in 3 different segments in different size rooms at different resorts. bummer! We waitlisted for a 1 br at OKW for the entire stay and within 4 days we had the 2 matches we needed to tie our 3 segments together in a 1 br. The waitlist really works!
