Waitlist success???

We have a dedicated 2 br booked at OKW for 4/11-4/15 and have been put on a waitlist for a 2 br lockout. We have another family of 3 coming with us and would prefer the lockout. The last 2 days of the stay is available for the lockout but not the 1st 2. We still have 2 months and 2 weeks to go. What do you think our chances are of a successful transfer? Thanks...

A dedicated 2 bedroom can only be rented as a 2 bedroom. There is 1 door to the villa. A lock off can be rented as a 2 bedroom, or it's parts can be rented as a 1 bedroom and a studio, so there are 2 entrances.

To the OP, which DVC are you booked at?

I'm not familar with the dedicated 2 bedrooms at OKW, but if the set up is like the lock offs, the entrance to the villas does allow for access to the studio portion without going into the main living space, so it shouldn't be too bad for privacy. In the VWL dedicated 2 bedroom that we had, you had to go through the living room to get to the 2nd bedroom.

I hope you get what you want. On this board, most people seem to have waitlist success!

Definitely call now and then. Even though it is supposed to automatically give you your waitlist, we called and low and behold one just happened to be available right when I asked Wonder if I would have received it had I not called. Good luck.
