Waitlist question

I am looking at taking a trip for five nights at the end of August. My preference would be to stay in a 2 bedroom villa in AKL but right now there is only availability in 1 bedroom villas for the full time. There is availability for four nights with one night in the middle not available. I am trying to decide if I should just book the five nights in the 1 bedroom and keep looking to see if that night opens up for the 2 bedroom or just book the four nights that are available in the 2 bedroom and waitlist the remaining night. I know nobody can predict the likelihood of a waitlist coming up but I will say a cast member did tell me for the 3 bedrooms it is less likely since the inventory is lower not sure if that would be the case with a 2 bedroom as well. Any thoughts on the likelihood of a one night waitlist coming in the last week of August on a Thursday. Thanks

I’d book all the nights in the two bedroom you can, book the missing night in the one bedroom so at least you have a place to stay if the waitlist doesn’t come through. Then I’d waitlist the one night you need in the two bedroom. Once it comes though you can have MS combine the reservation.
