waitlist question

I have a waitlist set up and it always has shown up when I click on my dashboard below my current reservation. Todays its not there but I do see it when I click on "waitlists" I believe I have read that when it disappears from my dashboard that maybe it booked?

Can anyone confirm this?

That is correct (I just learned that from the DIS myself), so you probably have a match. You can call and ask member services to confirm it for you.

Thanks for the reply....I chatted with DVC and of course they are having technical difficulties with the system and are unable to view waitlists.

Try not to worry. I know it's stressful until you actually see the reservation on your dashboard & MDE, but it's almost certain (as they say, nothing in life is guaranteed except death and taxes), that your waitlist matched. It's just sitting in a file waiting for a CM to complete your new reservation. Even if you don't call, you will soon see the new reservation. Congratulations!

It certainly is stressful. We decided to add one night at the beginning of our trip based on better flights. We have the BC(studio) booked 1/20-1/30 and I was lucky enough to add a std view BW studio for the 19th. My wife isn't super ok with a split so this would be awesome if it did book.

I just called, because I, too, no longer show my waitlist in My Dashboard. I was told that the waitlist process has been undergoing updating since Sunday, and there's no way for them to tell me if it went through or not.

I was told the same thing...They said hopefully by the end of the week it would be fixed.

Spoke with MS today and its just a glitch(shocking)...No match yet...Bummer...

Bummer about the waitlist. If you are not, I would keep watching the web site. Often you can find the room before it fills in the waitlist (doesn't seem like it should work that way, but it does).

Funny you should mention this....15 minutes ago I randomly checked and the 1 night I need was available. I called MS and they were able to book, cancel my 1 night at BW and cancel the wait list plus link the 2 reservations into 1. The wife is very excited about staying put in 1 room.
