Waitlist question

This may sound odd but what are the chances that 2 waitlists will come through for the same type of room at the same time?

I have waitlisted 2 studios at Jambo House, Standard View. I am trying to save points this year so even though I would love the Savannah View, I'm hoping we get a glimpse of the Savannah from our Standard studio like last time.

But I need two. It's for the first week of October. I'm just afraid that one waitlist will come through and the other won't, then we'll be stuck in two different places. KWIM?

How long ago did you get on the wait list? And I do not know how many Stnd view studios they have at Jambo. I would call Member Svcs and ask exactly how many there are, and if they can tell you how far down the W/L you are. I do not know if they can share that info with you or not. Many years ago, they could at least tell you something like, "you're way down the list", or similar. Not sure if they are still able. Obviously you are several months out, but it's the getting 2 for the same time frame that makes me wonder the number available since you have specified Jambo over Kidani.

I have had great luck with wait listing, but I am generally looking for something at OKW or Aulani, which are very large resorts with lots of rooms in each category. I would not imagine that Jambo has nearly as many Stnd View Studios as Kidani…….

Yeah I assume the same. Kidani has standard view still available for those dates. I just know that the last time we stayed at Jambo, the room we were in was considered standard view, but we still had a view of the Savannah. At check in she said it's considered a "partially blocked Savannah view".
