Waitlist Question

We have a reservation for 8 nights in a 1 bedroom at BW for September which I made at the 11 month window. At our 7 month window we want to see if we can get these dates at BLT in a 1 bedroom. What is my best bet as if I call the first day possible I will not be able to get all 8 nights as I can only book 7 nights at that time. I don't want to risk losing my BW reservation if I can't get all the nights at BLT we will stay at BW as we do not want to move.

As with any reservation, there’s a chance that your choice of nights will not be available. If those nights are not available and “not moving” is your highest priority, then I would suggest keeping your original reservation and trying to waitlist the entire stay. Call on the 2nd day of the 7-month widow so you can book the entire 8 days. That way you can ensure all days are available and you don’t have to worry about losing your original reservation or splitting your stay.
