I'm new to DVC and even newer to the Disboards... but I thought you'd be the best source for this waitlist question:

What's the probability of getting the waitlisted 1 bedroom at The Boardwalk during Halloween week?

I think your chances may be very, very low. Call MS firs thing in the morning to check availability and get yourself on the wait list if there is not availability.
Make certain that at 30 days out, you call and renew your waitlist with MS firs thing in the morning. At the 31 day mark, everyone drops off the waitlist and this may be your best chance of getting a last minute reservation. I got lucky doing this in June for VWL in this manner.

When did you go on the waitlist? If you are just getting on it, no change at all. If you have been on the waitlist for months, you never know.

I've been on the waitlist since June... but I'll definately call at the 31 days out mark to remain on the list.

I hope you have a back up plan just in case. I wouldn't count on getting what you want, but you never know.
