Am doing my first ever wait list ever, is there a resort that has a high success rate of wait lists coming through? Wait list dates Nov 9 -12, 2016 TIA
A big resort with no categories. Maybe SSR or OKW or AKV (savanna view). If you have the points, go for a one bedroom. Better chance of that than a studio. Probably a long list already for studios. You hit a very busy weekend - half marathon, end of F&W, beginning of Christmas parties.
You might even break it up into two waitlists, Nov 9 and 10 and Nov 11 and 12.

Ok I have one wait list in place. If I enter a 2nd wait list for same travel dates, is there a chance both might come through??? I know its highly unlikely but I don't want to end up with two rooms since am borrowing points

Your best bet and chance of success is for 1 BR at SSR or OKW non HH category. For studios it'd be the same choices. It might be that you'd rather have the cash option than spend the extra points for a studio, you'll have to decide. You might also stalk the website trying to find something for part of the days then wait list the rest. Good luck.

I don't think I've heard both wait lists of that happening.
I always use both wait lists if possible.
If it somehow did, it would be a mistake by DVC. And they should correct their mistake and properly return the points.

No actually if you have 2 wait lists, they are separate entities and would be treated as such. It would be possible for both to come through and cause a borrowed status. I suspect they'd fix it if noted reasonably quickly though, you'd just have to call. But it wouldn't be a "mistake" if they matched both wait lists.
If you do it in two chunks, but your Pop reservation is all in one chunk, watch out for if one waitlist comes through. They have to reprice cash reservations now when taking days off, and if the AP discount isn't in effect if you drop some days, you might end up paying more than you wanted to.
