Waitlist Help (replacing existing reservation)

I initially waitlisted for 3 consecutive nights and did not select the option to replace an existing reservation because I didn't have one. A few days later I was able to reserve night #2. Should I go in and create a new waitlist asking to replace the reservation for night #2, or just let it ride so I don't lose my place in the waitlist queue?

I have the exact amount of points in my current UY to cover the two nights I still need, but not enough to reserve all three (and later cancel the one I already have for night #2) -- will Member Services see that's what I'm trying to do, or just move to the next person on the waitlist?

Sorry if this is confusing!

I would waitlist individually for the othe 2 nights. Ive has better luck with waitlasts coming through that way.

I can only do one waitlist as I already have one active. Maybe I'll just do a waitlist for night #1, because night #3 is the one I still need too (we have two studios reserved). That way we'll at least be homeless together if we have to change resorts. :)

I would call MS and have them note it on the waitlist. Otherwise I'd bet it will either be replaced or you might even get a call to clarify but MS should be able to help. If you cancel and make a new waitlist my understanding is that you drop to the bottom of the list (if there is a list).

I made a Ressie short notice for 1st week in December...had to waitlist 3 days all separate that were not available. I tracked the online system and felt panicky. I had a "moment of lucidity" and called member services directly. I was able to get my whole reservation together at my choice resort and it was not visible online. I just thank the Mickey Stars because I have never had good luck with the Waitlist. Just an FYI...give them a call often. Can't hurt.
