Hi Everyone!
I'm wait listed for one night (MArch 29th) for a studio at VGF. Given that it's only two weeks away, do you think I have any chance of getting it? I'm going on the Disney Dream on the 30th, and thought this would be an excellent opportunity to try VGF for just a night.
Thanks!

In my opinion, wait lists anywhere are random luck. You don't know if there are a hundred people ahead of you, or if you're first in line. And there is no way to find out.

Since this property is so new, I would estimate a zero percent chance of someone canceling there because a wait list somewhere else came through. Not that owners wouldn't stay somewhere else; simply that I don't think they would be looking to do so this close to travel dates, when they had a reservation at a resort that's only six months old.

The chance that someone will cancel there because of an unexpected illness, or something critical coming up at work, is simply unknowable. The small total number of rooms also logically decreases your chance of being first on the list, if such an unexpected event occurs.

I'm sure that this close to travel that you have somewhere else booked. All I could wish you is good luck. But I certainly wouldn't expect this to fill.

I agree with above, and remember the waitlist expires 7 days out. You will have to keep calling or checking on line the last week if it is that important to you.

Thanks for the comments. I've assumed that I have a zero chance. But figured that you don't ask, you don't get. I've got SSR reserved, and it doesn't really matter where I stay for one night. I forgot that the wait lists expire 7 days out, so thanks for that reminder.

Another thing to think about is a 1 night stay really doesn't give you time to experience the resort and all that it has to offer.
