Very interesting you should ask this. I got my call Monday morning. I asked him if I could have overnight to think about it. Yes. I called the next day and requested 71 additional points. Great. Called the next day asking if there were more available. He said he would have to check what was still available. Yes, still some available. Called next morning that I decided to keep the 71 and not add any more. Called Friday requesting an additional 50. Guide off until Saturday. Nobody sure what was left if anything. Guide called this morning--Saturday--to say still availablity for the 50 more.
Anyone follow that story.
Guide said that my package was still not sent due to a backup with all the resale/add-ons, and that they would cancel the first 71 point add-on and rewrite a new contract for 121 total point add-on. They must be busy. HH sold out. VB sold out. OKW sold out. He did say there were a few VWL points floating around for just a few use years. BCV almost sold out. They are supposed to be moving to Saratoga Springs Villas, but this resort isn't scheduled to open until 2004. What will they sell until then if not more and more resale buyback add-ons.
Initially I was told that you have a day or two at the most to tell them how many points you would like. After you tell them yes or no, they move on to the next person on the list.
Did your guide tell you what number you were on the list? They can find that out. I was 18 on the list in December. In February, I was 8. I knew I would have a chance once I read about all the Disney buybacks.
