I’ll try not to make this too winded.
I’m planning a split stay in mid January. A couple of months ago, I purchased some additional point via resale. That contract closed later than expected, 2 weeks ago. The points have not hit my account yet.
In the meantime, I wanted to extend my stay both at the beginning and end of the trip. I put in 2 waitlists fully expecting to get the points before there was any chance of them getting filled. Well, they both filed yesterday and put me 4 points in the red of my 50% borrow on my existing points. I take it I am danger of my second half of my trip getting cancelled out here at some point. I probably have to wait 2 more weeks for my new points to show up…. Should I call and beg someone to keep this from happening? Or are they letting it slide if it’s only 4 points?
