Waitlist Chances?

Has anyone had any luck getting their waitlist on AKV Value Studios? We are looking to book two of them for 12/1-12/5 and I just called. We can get all of our dates except for the night of the 1st. We'll probably take the Standard for now which is available and waitlist the Value, but wondering if anyone has had any luck with this.

The more units that are available in the pool the better your chances. Since the values are limited in number, you may need some extra pixie dust to get your wait list.

Turns out it wasn't a problem this morning, the person I spoke to at MS had them come available while she was making the reservation. So now I have two value studios for December 1st - 5th. I can't wait to see WDW at Christmas.
