Waitlist came through this weekend!

I checked my email this morning and was excited to see that my waitlist for our first night in December came through. I was dreading having to change rooms and now we don't have to, our whole stay will be BWV Boardwalk view!

Awesome! So great when that happens! I have had really good luck in the past with waitlists - just waiting on one night 2BD at BVW for this October myself.

Thanks! I was really excited. I was worried with it being a popular DVC travel time that it wouldn't work out. Its so relieving to know that we're all set now.

I'm waitlisted for one night at the VWL, Thursday, December 20th. I was originally suppose to go the second week of December, VWL, to celebrate the end of my year of breast cancer treatment. Had all my priority seating reservations made & was so happy. Then my son, his fiance, and her 6yo son said they were planning on going in October, so I asked if they would like to come with me, and I'd switch to a 2BR. They thought that would be great, so I changed my room, & the PS reservations. It was still early enough in the year that I could still get Wilderness.

Fast forward to last month, and I find out son's fiance is pregnant, due January 22nd, 2013. No way could we go mid-December, so we decide to change to early October. Of course, everything is totally booked, except Saratoga, so we take it. I again change all my PS reservations, and luckily, we got most everything we wanted.

Now son's fiance wants to cancel, and go October 2013, when my other son, his wife, and their baby, who will be 16 months old at the time, are going. Sheesh! Had to cancel all my plans again.

Nevertheless, I'm still going this December!!! I luckily was able to get my first three nights at the BWL, and the next four at the VWL, and the last night of my vacation, but I'm missing the night before the last night. I've waitlisted it, but I'm trying to determine if I should just take the four nights in a row at Wilderness that I have, and book the last two nights somewhere else. Animal Kingdom Villas is available at this moment in time. I really don't relish the thought of changing resorts three times though, although i love AKV.
