Waitlist came through for HH

We were waitlisted for a one bedroom on Good Friday. I received my confirmation letter today that we got the waitlist. I'm pleased, but I thought they called you to confirm that you were still interested--and I never got a call. Now I have to replan my vacations for the next two years since I am no longer banking those points-how can I stand to do more planning?

Great news, We had great weather when we went in April in 1998. We were on the beach alot and did swim, but in the pool not the ocean. DS had great time on the beach and at the 2 pools. We won't be back until next July 2004, so I envy you. We decided on WDW both in June (BCV, first time ) and OKW(our home resort) in Dec-New year's. HHI is fab!

I think they can put it in either way (call or automatically confirm) but they usually ask which way you want it. You can also wait list day by day or for the entire days at one time. I'm sure if you wanted to change it they will refund the points.

No, I am delighted that the waitlist came through. We were originally booked for Monday through Friday, but the nasty winter we had ended up costing DD most of the week off from school. We were down to 2 nights prior to the waitlist, so this gives us more time to enjoy the resort. I am now working on refiguring the next years' vacations--I love DVC'v flexibility.
