Waitlist Came Through, but have Q

Hi guys!! My wait list came through in only three days for a 1 bedroom at the Boardwalk during F & W (A one-day extension onto pre-existing ressie)

My question is this...when I looked at the ressie on my planning page, it showed separate reservation # for that single day. I don't have to check out, and then check in again do I, if it's for the same type room (1 bedroom, standard view)? Sounds silly, but you never know!

If it stays as 2 reservations, you most likely won't have to switch rooms, but you will have to stop by the front desk to "check out" and then "check in" to your new room. I don't think too many people have to actually move, just make sure the front desk knows about this 1 day reservation when you check in at the beginning of your trip and they should be able to take care of keeping you in that room.

You don't have to check in/out. Just called MS today and ask to make sure that they "Linked" your 2 reservations. You will get a new confirmation sheet showing an entire reservation now. I've done this several times. Often will book at my home resort and will sometimes add a day before or after with different points to extend the reservation -- sometimes get it on the first call, sometimes I waitlist. I just did this last month and when I checked in I doubled checked that the reservation checkout was what I knew it should be. It was not a problem at all.

Yes just have your reservations linked together and you will be fine. I have done this so many times and have never had to check in/out again.

October 17th...don't give up, I figured I'd never get it because it's during F & W, and already inside the seven month window. Maybe helped because it was just one day.
