Waitlist came through!! Boardwalk view-17 days to go!!!

Just got on to check reservation and our wait list for boardwalk view came through!!! We will be down there in 17 days, so was kind of thinking it wasn't going to happen.

We actually had a split reservation because we made first part with our points and second part with cousin's points. The waitlist for first couple days came through a while back, so we knew we would just have to move rooms for second part.

My in laws will be celebrating 50th anniversary and they love the Boardwalk, so I'm so glad we get to surprise them with the view!!!!

Don't give up hope! Mine was for a six night stay as well and especially this close to check in, I just figured it was out of the question. I know with yours it's a bit different because of F&W, but you just never know what can transpire! Where are you staying if it doesn't come through?

We just returned yesterday from a 7 night stay at BWV. I had booked pool/garden view for 4 days and SSR for the 3 days prior. Waitlisted those 3 SSR days at BWV. Waitlist for the 3 days came within 24 hours so I used both my waitlists for BWV standard and boardwalk view. Neither ever came through for me. I had accepted it.

Imagine my delight when we walked into the room and discovered that we had been given a Village Green view!! Ok, so it's only a partial bw view but it was awesome!! Loved that room and hated to leave it. Don't give up hope!

Personally, the Village Green view is my absolute favorite at BW. I don't care for the direct Boardwalk view due to noise and much farther walk down the hall.
