I finalized a quick, 3-night resort-only trip for DH and I in October. He hasn't been to WDW since 2016 and he is not particularly excited about going back, but since it is for my 50th birthday, he said he would do it for me :goodvibes . His biggest hang-up has always been the parks so this trip will be mostly no parks, but we are going to MNSSHP.

I have a preferred studio booked at SSR since we have never stayed there before. Ideally, I would LOVE to get a tower studio (same number of points) at the Riviera. I know that DH would love the ambience and setting of the Riviera and it might just get him back to WDW again. He also likes the Boardwalk area since he can walk to the Speedway and get beer for 1/3 of the cost of the resort:drinking1. I have a waitlist in place for the tower studio and also for a standard studio at the BW. I figured it couldn't hurt and I might get lucky. Well, now there's a hiccup...

A tower studio came available today for the MIDDLE night only. I grabbed it (I have enough points without borrowing), but now what should I do??
Should I cancel my current BWV waitlist and then make two, separate waitlists for the missing RIV nights? Or should I just leave everything "as-is" and hope that all 3 nights come available at one or the other? I am going to keep stalking the website for the missing nights since I do have enough points to hold both reservations (48 pts each) at the same time. I am fine with either the RIV (which is my favorite, but that room is SO tiny!) or BWV for the bigger room and less points. I'm also totally fine with SSR since we have never been there and it is so close to Disney Springs.

I also changed my current RIV waitlist to 7 days, but not the BWV one since it uses less points and my UY is February. Any advice (or just some pixie dustpixiedust:) would be appreciated.

UPDATE:

I saw a studio at CCV come available for the last 2 nights and since we honeymooned at WL in 2002, I grabbed those 2 nights. I dropped the Riviera WL and opted to WL the first night at CCV. Yesterday, the waitlist filled! So now I have another decision to make...do I keep my SSR preferred studio or do I keep the CCV studio???

Here's the factors I have to consider...
1) WL/CCV/BRV has a special meaning to us because it is where we honeymooned and we have not been back since then.
2) We are planning to eat at Geyser Point and HDDR, as well as attend MNSSHP so transportation from CCV is more convenient
3) We have never stayed at SSR and the studios look amazing after the recent refurb. Since we are not doing any parks this trip, it's a great opportunity to try SSR so that we can hop over to DS if we want something to do.
4) I am returning to WDW for 8 days with my friend in early December and we have a 1BR booked at BRV for 4 nights. I'm not sure I want to stay at the WL complex twice in such a short time when I have never stayed at SSR.
5) I asked the hubby what his thoughts were and naturally, he has no opinion to offer. He said, "It's your birthday...you pick!"

I have until September 12 (my deadline) to make my decision.
