Waitlist and Pulling Points

My wife and I would like to stay at either SSR or AKV the night before thanksgiving to that Saturday. Obviously we would have to go on a wait list so I have two questions.

1. What's the probability that we would be able to get a reservation?

2. We only have around 20 points left for 2014 and 200 for 2015. Would we have to pull from next year then do the wait list or can they just pull the points if the wait list goes through? Our UY is March and I don't want to loose the points if we transfer them to this year then find out we can't get a reservation.

I'm not sure that your chances would be great. However, they will not take points out of next year unless they fill a waitlist, so that is a good thing.

Your best chance would be a one-bedroom at SSR, followed by a studio at SSR. You might have luck with a one-bedroom or studio at BWV or Kidani, but, since those are separated by view, they will be more difficult to waitlist.

You could also try OKW 1 bedroom or studio.
