Waitlist and Checking Online

I see many people check their waitlist online..... I am just wondering for the people that have seen their waitlist acceped online, did you notice what time of day?

Reason I ask....

is it that if Mr Smith calls up at 10am and cancels.. that MR Jones who was on the wait list will get that spot....

or

is it that if Mr Smith calls up at 10am and cancels.. The waitlist does not get proccessed until say 7pm.. when some system function runs?

I checked my waitlist before I went to work yesterday, nothing. I got home around 6:30 and checked again and one of the nights came through!!

My question is according to your scenario Mr. Smith cancels a BWV studio at 10:00 AM. At 10:01 Mr. Hawkins calls looking for that BWV studio. Does Mr. Hawkins get the studio or does it go to Mr. Jones later in the day when they run the wait lists?

My question is according to your scenario Mr. Smith cancels a BWV studio at 10:00 AM. At 10:01 Mr. Hawkins calls looking for that BWV studio. Does Mr. Hawkins get the studio or does it go to Mr. Jones later in the day when they run the wait lists?

I have a hunch you're exactly right with Mr. Hawkins getting the reservation.

Assuming you are a DVC member....go to http://dvcmember.com. If you haven't already registered, please do. Once into the site, in the right hand column, go to view vacation details. If you have a BOOKED room it will show up there.
