Be been looking at the waiting times using apps for both WDW and Universal. Last night I noticed that Gringotts was two hours. I Immediately pulled a face but my boyfriend, a massive HP fan seemed unfazed (his first trip, my sixth). We spoke about setting a realistic limit of the longest waiting time for any ride we would accept. We go in August, so yes it's busy. Last two weeks on the month. We have FP+ for some major rides. So my question...what's your waiting time limit?

We wouldn't do anything more than an hour, but for us the holiday is not just about rides, it's the whole thing. Too many other things can be done in an hour :cool1: Having said that we are going to Universal in December, kids and DW are massive HP fans so we may end up queueing for Gringotts, we will have early entry though as we're on-site.

The last time my fiancé and I went was about two years ago, my first time that I can remember (went as a young child in mid 80s) and we used fast passes on the long waits for most. We did though have to wait probably an hour to 80 minutes for the toy story ride which I thought was outlandish and I was not happy about it. Then I did it, had a blast and was glad I waited.

For most rides 30 minutes would be my limit, for the must haves like Space Mountain I'd honestly say 1 hour would be stretching it but that's me saying it now getting ready for work, not walking through the park and enjoying a vacation. Chances are if I want to ride it or she does, we will just wait online and play in our phones
