Waiting not so patiently for a late august discount...

Who else is going August 15th or later this year? Our dates are 8/15-24....I know we will be too early for FD promo but hoping for a room only discount! Last year it was released May 1st....ahhhhhh! Bonkers

We are celebrating our 10 year anniversary with a Disney Cruise and wanting to add on some days at the Polynesian afterwards.... trying to be patient waiting for what offers will be offered for mid-end August!!!

We were there for a brief stay in November. We stayed in the Mermaid rooms...it rose very quickly to one of our top resorts. It is so beautifully done, the staff is superb and we really enjoyed the whole experience. The only thing we did not like was the payout of having to go through the gift shop to get to the food court, but once inside the set up and food choices were excellent.

Waiting also - August 24-31. Airfare is kind of ridiculous right now, so hoping for a great deal on a package. Ugh...the wait is KILLING me! This is the latest I've ever booked. Usually I'm booked almost a year out, and we're only like four months away right now!

Impatiently waiting here too!! Haven't booked airfare until I know that exact dates for the best promo Hoping for Free Dining and willing to book if they offer it around 8/24 - really would love for a start date of 8/18 though!!! Or, if no free dining - SOMETHING!!! Our airfare is currently running $360!!!! I have never paid more than $200..... I can't believe the increase .... praying to catch a sale at some point Now, com'on Disney and at least tell us what the promo will be so we can all stop stressing!! LOL

Getting impatient too. Supposed to be going 8/11 -8/24. Last discount only covered four days so we haven't booked anything yet. I'm ready to just give up and plan on offsite. We seem to be in between promos and I refuse to pay double for onsite. I really just wish they'd put the next promo out so I'd know for sure before throwing in the towel. I used to look forward to planning our Disney trips. Now It's just aggravating.

I'm waiting on some type of room only for 8/17 and 8//18... We already have FD from 8/19 to 9/2. Air is booked and it was more than we normal pay. But the prices keep increasing. So glad I booked when I did.

We are on the waiting train too. Seems kind of endless. Doing Disney either way 18-27, but it will be an offsite stay if there isn't a good enough discount.

HI y-all, add us to the list too. We already have plane tickets booked Aug 29-Sept 2 over the long Labor day weekend. We booked Little Mermaid rooms months ago, but come to find there are still open rooms for those dates . Probably too much to hope that those rooms would be added to free dining IF it comes out. Actually thinking that if we have to pay for dinning, might as well stay off-site at one of those fancy resorts since WDW prices have gone up quite a bit. It's a terrific dilemna.

We got so tired of waiting to book, that we booked yesterday for 8/23-8/28 at POR!! Really hoping we don't have to cancel if they for some reason do not offer FD Still waiting to book airfaire, just in case! Ughhh, come on Disney! Just announce FD already...please???
