Waiting Lists - anyone have luck with this

We are scheduled for our home SSR on 12/7 - 12/13/08, and have put ourselves on the waiting list for the the Beach Club. Has anyone ever had luck getting changed this way?

I've been waitlisted for BWV and OKW for most of the same days for quite a while and have had virtually no luck. Only one day has opened so far. Very frustrating.

Let me add that in the past, I have had great luck with wait lists.

We waitlisted twice before, once for Wilderness lodge and once for Beach Club, and luckily were able to get both. So it can happen.

We often have great luck with the waitlist, but I think that you may find that yours doesn't come through this time. December is a very popular DVC time and resorts have been booked up for a while. Of course there's always a chance, but I think you'll probably end up at SSR.
