waiting list came through !!!

I am super excited!!! I have reservation for 5 nights in mid October for Saratoga and Old Key West. I originally had a 4 day reservation, but decided to add a extra day at SSR. When I added the extra day, they couldn't give me the grand villa only a 2 bedroom. I stayed on the waiting list for about 1 month and now they called and said I can have the GV for my entire stay. Total of 3 nights GV at SSR and 2 nights GV at OKW.

To top it all off, we are new DVC members and are really excited to be going "Home" for the first time. Altho no stranger to WDW, are none the less happy to be returning!

Anyone want to share their recent trip with me from these two resorts?

Congratulations!!! In the DVC world, there's no better feeling than to have a waitlist come through. I've had one clear, and am awaiting a second (I had 2 nights waitlisted for December).

I have never stayed in a GV so congrats to you
Our "home" is OKW (since 8/00) but I have actually never seen a GV in person---only pics. Looks really nice.

OTOH, we did tour SSR a couple weeks ago and the GV there is just gorgeous (look for the hidden mickeys).
