Waiting for the rest of your group at the border

We'll be travelling with a group in 3 or 4 other vehicles. Is there a spot for us to wait for the other vehicles after we've cleared customs, on both sides of the border? Or can we just pull over to the side to wait?

At the fort Erie border there is a middle spot where big trucks park and I always pull over in front of them to wait and no one has told me to move along.

There's a timmies and duty free shops - maybe there is a parking area you can meet at.

In Fort Erie, ON (after you've cleared Canadian Customs), there is a great parking area. About 2 km from Customs is a Petro-Canada and a Tourist Info area.
