Waiting for BWV points - UPDATE!

I talked to my guide yesterday about adding on 100 pts. at BWV, Feb. use year. He didn't seem very optimistic that they would come in, but I gave him the credit card number and we're keeping our fingers crossed. He mentioned the increase in April (actually later for current members), so I'll stay in the waiting mode until the increase and if they come in, great...if not, oh well. I really want the 100 points there for the 11-month window for early December. The rest of my points are at BCV. If I don't get the points, there are a whole lot worse things than having to stay at BCV in early December, LOL!

Anyone have any thoughts about whether this will come through? Anyone just want to wish me luck? It sounds like I'll need it!

I think they will come in eventually but whether you beat the price increase is another story. Keep those fingers crossed and add some pixie dust.

The interesting thing about your post is that this is the first time I've heard of the price increase effecting resorts other than SSR. There is nothing on the DVcC site that I've seen (haven't looked much since yesterday morning) indicating what the new price of the sold out resorts will be and/or whether they will be increased at all.

Waitlist for Feb UY @BWV worked for us last month. We got 65, now DW wants 75, so seeing if 10 more trickle in before next week, otherwise we'll take what we can get (65). Actually our guide encouraged us to wait for the few more we wanted.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but Feb is a very popular use year. I have added on three times, waitlisted for Feb, and never got it. I still have not been called for that. After 14 months, I talked to my rep, and asked about adding to my March contract. I got a call 1 day later! Turns out no one was waiting at that time for March add-on. Have you considered the Timeshare Store for a 100 pt resale? They have lots of them listed right now. I can say that they are very efficient, and they are the top in the industry.

My guide told me that by being on the waitlist and giving your credit card, you're locked in to the $84 rate.

I'm not sure it's going up for non-SSR add-ons anyway, but if it should, I think you're okay.

My very surprised guide called Friday and said the 100 BWV points came in! It took less than a month, now I just have to figure out what to do with them!

Congrats!!! I SO want to add on at BWV...but, my problem would not be "figuring out what to do with them"....it would be "figuring out how to pay for them"!!!!

Congratulations! That is funny - my guide called on Friday also to tell me my points came in (40 BWV dec use year). Enjoy your points!
