Waiting for August Hours - All hours are up!!

WHAT!?!?!? I come back on just to see the hours...and they STILL aren't up?!?!?!

I'm about to call Disney and ask for them!!!!!!!!!!!

Night all - think good August hour thoughts tonight and maybe we will get them overnight (wishful thinking - but you never know).

That reminds me - I had dreams about making ADR's last night. I just remembered right that second. I don't remember much, but I remembered it more vividly this morning but forgot about it until just now. Now the memories are gone and I really don't remember much. Hmm - wonder if it was a nightmare lol!

Still nothing. I was up late scrapbooking, and figured I'd check.

On the bright side, I made a really cute Valentine's Day page?
:rotfl:
Here's to hoping tomorrow morning.... sending pixie dust to everyone who has to make ADRs within the next week.

Curses! I guess planning this weekend is out. I was looking forward to it. I don't so much need hours for ADRs (we're going during free dining but we aren't free diners, we have the military discount instead) as for planning around parades, Fantasmic, and EMHs. It's going to drive me nuts to wait a few more days. Then I have to wait a whole month for September. :headache:

Well it is Saturday morning now for me and still no hours, my plan for this afternoon was to sit down and finish my park day and ADR planning. Oh well, I'm going out this morning to run some errands then I have some gardening to do. So, maybe by the time I have finished just after lunch they will be up.

I was really hoping they would have put them up by now. Hope they are on there soon.

A case of insomnia has led me to research the threads. :surfweb:

Since WDW went to the 90 day thing:

July hours were posted April 1 at 5:12pm (Wednesday): 91 days in advance

June hours were posted Feb 27 at 7:08 am (Friday): 94 days in advance

May hours were posted Jan 30 8:04 am (Friday): 91 days in advance

Today, May 2, is 91 days before August 1.

Do they post on Saturday? According to an earlier post by Robo, they have posted on weekends, 2 am, etc.

Since park hours were posted at 91 days out 2 out of the 3 times prior to the change, we could expect them to be posted some time today.

. . . or maybe not.

Oh dear, you must have been bored to work all that out! Here is hoping the appear some time this morning.

It's 5:13am and do you know where your August 2009 Park Hours are?? :lmao:

OK...jokes over Disney....we get it, you wanted to know we need you:worship:...I think this thread proves we are still commited. How about showing some 2 way street lov'in here??? :confused3

I am new here. We are going on Aug 18 to 28 for 10 days with free dining. This is our first time to WDW.
Why do you guys need to know the park hours? Do you want to know the EMH of each park to plan the ADR? Are we supposed to avoid the EMH parks because of the crowd? Please tell me more about it. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome!

Here's my reasoning:
I'm still on the fence about whether to:
a) Take advantage of early EMH, then hop to another park.
or
b) Avoid EMH and sleep the other hour. The theory is that the EMH park will be more crowded by about 11 am.

But either way, I would love to see those hours so I can play with possibilites. I would also like to know when we can see Spectro (it was on hiatus last summer when we were there, and I would really like to see it this year) so I can plan our MK days. We're skipping Fantasmic this year (my daughters were terrified) but people would like to know when it's scheduled so they can plan their DHS days accordingly... we'll plan our DHS day on a day that it's NOT showing to avoid the crowds there.

Also, take a look at www.touringplans.com as the date gets closer (or subscribe.) They have a best days/ worst days list using plan (b) from above.

All right come on already....Disney for petes sake get your act together...you are known for doing things right....but that is not the image everyone has of your website....your a mess!!!!

Do fireworks and parade times appear when the hours are released? Or do I need to go to a separate site? Help!!! Thanks

This is getting silly now! I have the UK site calendar open on one tab, the US site calendar open on a seperate tab and I keep refreshing them both and still nothing!! Good job that I don't have much planned to do today apart from housework and DH is out all day!

I guess I'll have to make my ADR's today for July 31-Aug 9 based off July's hours and call and adjust if need be.

Disney disappointed me with their laziness.

Good luck with your adrs...let us know how it went! SOrry they didn't have the hours posted for you!

:surfweb: This is me having my morning coffee Waiting, Waiting and still Waiting!!!! Come on Disney!!!! What's the hold up? :confused3 I've got plans to make, ADRs to finish up and places to go today!!!! :rotfl:

Well I have a split stay (6 days at Pop Century then 10 days at the Polynesian) and the system wouldn't let me book past the 6 days at Pop Century...talked to 3 different people so that stunk.

All 3 cast members I spoke to at Dining Reservations said they didn't expect the hours to be posted before noon on Monday. That's the 4th and under 90 days before august 1. Kinda disappointing...
