Waiting for a Full blown Muppet comeback

when I was a kid--we thought The Muppet Show was the greatest reason to have a TV. We would talk about the skits in school (like we did Saturday Night Live in College), we all went to the Muppet Movies with great anticipation--my brother even had an "Animal" birthday cake and Muppet birthday one year.

Anyone else hoping Disney will be able to take The Muppets back to the heights they deserve?????

I'm with you!! I LOVED The Muppet Show, and I've started collecting them on DVD. My kids enjoy it, too - great entertainment that spans all generations. Can't find that too often any more!

Love the MUPPETS and although the 3D attraction is a bit dated, I still love it. And am hoping that Disney will do more with them in the studios.

Jim Henson was right up there with Walt in the realm of visionaries.

I loved Pigs In Space! The Electric Mayhem is still one of my favorite bands....

I thought Brian Henson bought back the Muppets from that German company. Maybe new things will emerge.

DS kind of likes them, but I realized how I had failed as a parent when he got a Swedish Chef toy and had no idea who he was!

I named one of the family cars Beaker as a kid I loved Beaker - still do!

The Comedy of the Muppets was so fabulous... love the saucy political jabs, the current topic humor and the old corny stuff too!

My kids were brought up on the Muppets... now I am working on the grandkids!! What kids childhood would be complete without
Kermit, Fozzie, Miss Piggy, The Swedish Chef, Beaker, Gonzo, ANIMAL and the rest of the gang!!

Ya, another closet Muppet lover here!

I even like some of the "newer" ones. (Although the classics are the best! ) I watch (because of course I own) A Muppet Christmas Carol every year. I'm trying my best to convince my kids it's a Christmas tradition.
