I've been waiting for 1month + for an add on to our BWV points. When we first bought, the points came fairly quickly so I thought it would go the same way this time..... I guess not.... I have a Sept. use year and am looking for at least 130 pts. ... How long you all think I'm going to have to wait??? :hourglass :hourglass :sad2:

Do you want to keep the same use year? If you don't mind a different one, The Timeshare Store has two 150 point contracts listed on their website. Use years are August and December and you might get the points more quickly than if you wait for Disney.

By the way, I don't work for TSS, but DH and I recently purchased an additional contract for BWV through them. The process couldn't have been any easier and everything went so smoothly. We tried to purchase points through Disney in March and it was such a hassle - we couldn't get a straight answer from anyone at DVC, they said some people were on the waitlist for over 6 months because additional points at BWV were "very rare" for our use year (December) and wouldn't we rather buy points at SSR?, etc.

We researched additional contracts at TSS, made an offer and closed on the contract in about 2 months. If we ever decide to do it again, we'll definitely go right to TSS.

Good luck!!

There is no way to tell how long you will be waiting. We waited about a month for a 30 point add on for a June UY. As stated above, if you are flexible with your use year, you could probably have your points tomorrow. I know when I called to inquire there were 190 points in the system for June. I hesitated for a couple days and they were gone. She said there is no way of knowing when points will become available, but I do think from watching the inventory on TTS, you get a pretty good idea when the popular times are. Good luck. The call may come tomorrow..... :cheer2:

I agree. We spoke to a few agents. Were given different prices, different rules. I swear they sometimes make this stuff up.

We did end up buying direct from Disney though and our June 50 points came through in about 10 days. I think the more points you want the harder it is. I have heard the recommendation to request 50 then 80 or something like that so you will get at least some fairly soon.

We have also bought 3 resales...a few from TTS. They are excellent and I wouldn't hesitate to go that route again (plus we find it to be cheaper usually).
