Waiting and Praying

... for all of the folk in Frances' path (whatever that might turn out to be) and for this baddy to blow by and get out of town!

I have lots of family and friends in Tampa and Orlando, so most of all I hope everyone is safe. I just "talked" via e-mail to one friend in Orlando, whose husband is a part time CM, and I know they're all still frightened. This one-two punch is just too much. She reports that quite a few neighbors still have way too much debris left over from Charlie littering their properties. Debris today can be a projectile on Sunday.

Still, in the midst of it all, my family continues our preparations to travel down to WDW on Tuesday.

I went to the drugstore today and got all my meds straightened out. I picked up my dry cleaning. And I thoroughly cleaned my living room (I'll get to the rest of the house over the long weekend; I love coming home to a clean place). I even had a cast-only piglet pin that I won on e-bay delivered today.

I'm actually starting to get excited, but then there's that big ball of wind and water sitting right off the coast of Fla.

Right now in Orlando, there are blue skies filled with beautiful, white fluffy clouds. It's hot and breezy out ... a perfect Florida afternoon. And it would be SO much nicer if these lovely clouds and breezes weren't the leading edge of a hurricane!
