Wait Time for ROFR

I was told that the Disney committee meets on Wednesdays for ROFR. Does anyone know how long they take to determine which contracts they'll let through and which they'll buy back?

We made our offer on 12/30/02 and rec'd word that Disney approved the sale on 1/18/03, approximately 3 weeks later. FWIW, the 18th was a Saturday - I guess the delay was that the title company didn't know whether the sale was approved until they rec'd the final info from Disney? Good Luck!

I sent back my paperwork for an offer on OKW points the 13th of January. Disney informed my agent on the 16th of February that they would be buying back the points at the rate I offered.

I was told by my agent that Disney is being more agressive on their ROFR, so they are viewing each contract more carefully, thus it is causing longer wait times.

I am very happy though that they did buy the points, I am now in the process of buying 170 points at BVC direct from my guide Bernard at DVC.

My offer was accepted by the seller on January 22nd. My resale agent informed me that Disney opted to exercise their ROFR on Tuesday, Feb. 18th.

Our offer on a smalll OKW resale was accepted January 22. We just got a call on Feb 18th that our sale would go through.

Most are 2 to 3 weeks, they have 30 days. It partly depends on how many they have and when they receive yours.
