Can you find current information about the status of a member’s wait list on the member’s web site?
How do they fill a wait list request? Does the "system" do it once a day and if so is it best to call Members services to request a "look see" to try to fill the request?

if the web site shows the new reservation, then your waitlist came through.

otherwise, no.

reports have varied. calling MS on a regular basis has worked for some people.
