Wait List ?

I was wondering if anybody could give me info. about using the “wait-list”? We would love to stay at the BC or BW 12/1 – 12/4 – I’ve been told there is no availability for a studio on these dates Can you rent points and use the wait-list? How would this work? Would anybody be willing to work with me? We have family staying at the YC during these dates and would love to be near them (I’m afraid the YC is out of our budget).

Could I make a reservation for the nights available through the Vaca. Club and book the remaining nights directly through Disney (in other words – make 2 reservations?)

Until the reservation exists, you have nothing to rent. You don't rent points, you rent a reservation. If you can find a member who is willing to be put on the waitlist for you and wait until the bitter end, you might be able to get something. But it could be as late as Nov before you find out if something is available. And if a member has the points that they want to rent out, they may not be willing to wait that long and then find out their points couldn't be rented because nothing ever came open.

You can always make a reservation for cash with Disney and maybe get an AP rate if you have an AP and if the AP rates are available.
