Wait list

Going to Disney for 2 nights and was able to get one of the nights. Should I wait list for just the missing night or for both nights. It said on the website not to just do a wait list for the missing night as it would then require a change of rooms. Just wondering which way to do it and if I do both nights if the system knows I already have one of the nights book so it only needs the second night to complete the 2 night reservation.

Wait-list the one night. MS can combine the reservations later.

We recently waitlisted one night for the same type of room that we had. I got an email that we got the waitlisted room. It came as a separate reservation number. The next day, I received a modification to our original reservation that included the waitlisted night.
If you are using the same type of room for both nights at the same resort, it appears MS will combine the reservations for you as noted above. For us, the process was seamless.
