Wait list strategy.

I tried to book 3 nights at VGC at the 11 month window and could only get 2. I wasn't worried about it and figured the third night would pop up, but it hasn't. It's for November. I'm wondering now if it's because they are going to redo the bathrooms and maybe too many rooms are going to be out of commission.

My other thought is maybe my wait-list is the wrong way to do it. I wait-listed all 3 nights with the replacement of the current reservation. Should I just wait-list the single night? I'm not even 100% about that last night TBH. It's potentially going to be a leave at 9:00-10:00pm and I want the room situation.

I would have only WL the missing night-without a replacement. It’s much much easier for 1 night to pop open than all 3. You might try calling MS to see if they can adjust the WL…never hurts to ask.
