Wait-list Status?

If a wait-list request comes through, does the on-line status of reservations at dvcmember change automatically too?

I currently have a split stay planned and am waiting for a wait-list request. I wasn't sure if I needed to call about this or if I could simply check my account on-line for updates.

...does calling and speaking with someone have any influence on the process? (I figure it doesn't, but had to ask)

your on line reservations reflect you current reservations. Some people seem tobe very lucky when they call to check it seems the waitlist has just come through. that's never happened to me. I'm pretty lucky with waitlists that just come through on their own.

Yes, your online account will be updated automatically. This is how I found out that we got our waitlist for January, long before we got the letter.

I generally check online because I don't want to feel like I'm pestering MS. However yesterday I called to add the dining plan to my existing reservation and I asked if while I had her on the phone if she could check my waitlist and while I was on the phone with her a 1 bedroom at BWV had just opened up so I was able to snag it.

So it never hurts to call.
