Wait List Question

I just tried to book Sunday February 19 in any DVC resort and was told all sold out for that night. I've been put on the wait list. What do you think my chances are?

Not very good. Sorry. That's the Sunday before President's Day. If anything is going to happen for you, it will most likely be at the 31 day mark.

I tried to book that night and am on the waitlist as well. Monday it was available at Saratoga but tues when I called back it was gone!!
Now we have plane tickets and nowhere to stay our last night!!

Let's hope something frees up.

Last minute/short notice reservations have always been hit or miss -especially for holiday periods. Bet you could book something if you were looking earlier in February.

We've just decided to stay onsite at Universal and do their parks. Our teens like it there, and the resorts are great. Wish we could have used our points, but this will be just as much fun.

Yes, it would have been nice! But, if your going to do US/IOA, I like to stay there! It is much easier and Front of the line access! Although, it is not easier on the wallet!

Member services just called to say there is now availability. I was surprised. Just wanted to let others know that there is hope. We're sticking with out original plan even though it will be costlier..........

what type of room are you waitlisted for?
we are waitlisted at all the resorts and have not heard anything.
I am starting to think we'll be sleeping at the airport!!

They called on Friday, and said they would hold this until The 18th because they would be closed on Monday. I requested a one bedroom at the Boardwalk.......Good luck, I hope you hear something soon too!

thanks--I'm going to call again next week to get added to the waitlist for onebedrooms and studios---right now on the list for a 2 bedroom

just to let everyone know--the wait list came through for a 1 bedroom for the 19th and then the next day for the 2 bedroom we needed. The CM said they get a lot of cancellations. I had waitlisted for the whole time at BC and doubt that will come through--I'm just glad we now have a room for the whole time.
