wait list if available through co

I have a wait list for 1b standard view. On the wdw reservation website they have it available. Can that be put back into dvc at this time? It frustrates me to see it there and yet I can't have it! ( okay, tantrum over)

The availability for DVC rooms on the regular WDW reservation site is for those rooms that do not belong to DVC members. There are rooms that are there because members chose to use their points for a cruise, or a stay at one of the Interval International resorts or even at WDW regular moderate or deluxe resorts. They need to rent these rooms for cash to pay for the trades the member made. I do not think they can be put into the regular DVC inventory until maybe very close to the reservation date if at all. Many people have the same feelings you do but it is just part of the system we all bought into and when we are unfortunate enough to have not made our reservations early enough to insure getting what we want I guess we just have to ignore the fact that those rooms are available for cash. I had a waitlist in place from April for a studio at BCV for 4 days in Sept. which never came through so I know how you feel. Fortunately we had a back up reservation at SSR.

Its also very unlikely that its ACTUALLY a Standard View room through CRO - its probably a pool view room. They label them as standard because then when the guest checks in they can stick them anywhere, but since standards are very popular with members, almost never are the CRO rooms actually the standard view rooms.
