Wait List Hilton Head

We are on the wait list for the week of July 7th at Hilton Head? We have been on the list since January? Anyone had luck with getting villa in the summer from wait list?

Hi from another Tenn. girl - former actually, as now I live in Arkansas. I think the prospect of getting in for July 7 at HH is not too good. Can you be flexible on your dates? Of course, it is awfully late for any summer dates at HH, since it is premier season during the summer and the resort is very small. However, I got in last summer by telling them I would take ANY size accomodation ANY time during June or July (I am a teacher). This was in January though, so I don't know if you would be that lucky. I loved it there and am considereing an add-on just to be able to get the summer months. The 11-month window seems to be absolutely necessary for summer, I think. Good luck, I hope you get to go! We have been on wait list since January. I have to get 2Bdrm unit as my mother will be visiting from Idaho and wants to go. I too have considered buying points there to avoid the problem during summer. We have gone three other times but they were in the spring time.

Thanks for the hello Robin. There are not many of us DVC folk in Tenn. We got our neighbors to join site unseen. They have enjoyed their membership as much as we have.
