Wait List for Thanksgiving - WWYD?

I didn't call until 12/29/06 to make reservations for Thanksgiving 07. I was trying for a 2bdrm Standard View at BWV. I was able to reserve 11/17 Sat to Tues 11/20. I was put on a wait list for the remaining days but the only ones not available was Wed & Thurs.

I realized later that I should have made a preferred view reservation to ensure I had at least that but it wasn't available when I called.

Now that the 7mth window is coming up I need to decide whether to move my entire reservation or make a reservation somewhere else for the days BWV wasn't available and hope my wait list comes through. If there is nothing available for Thanksgiving I guess I have to pray the wait list comes through.

Any suggestions? What are my chances for the wait list? Any guesses or prior experience?

well.....just to let you know i am on waitlist for the 22 of Nov. for a preferred boardwalk view studio....my daughter was put on a waitlist for the same view same kind of room two months later than i was.....her's came through yesterday....mine never did yet....i always thought there was a list that the first listed get the rooms as they become available...but i guess not....so don't give up ..yours may come through.....of course my reservations were made around the time yours were made also....so you never know...good luck
