I got a call from DCL yesterday regarding upgrading (for cost) from my category 11 to a category 9. I am so happy!! We were able to get connecting category 9s 2602 & 2604. The cost was $1000 more. Well worth it to me for the extra bathroom, space, and light. We cruised this August in a category 11 (4 of us) and we found it very tight. Part of the problem, was that my DDs pack and play and stroller had to keep getting closed, put away, etc..

Anyway, anyone else who waitlisted get any phone calls?

Mary,

How long have you been on the wait list waiting for this??

ivanova,

When I made the ressie (first night available--in May) I had requested two category 11 cabins close together. We were pretty close but not that close. So I was not thrilled with the location. There were no other cabins available that night so I wait listed for the 8s or 9s. I was very surprised to find the connecting 9s available. By the way, they also had connecting 8s available but it was $2000 more per cabin.

lookingforward & CRSNDSNY---Thank you!!!

Mary
