I've heard mention here on the DISBoards about people who "wait" for better rooms if they're not entirely thrilled with the rooms offered to them at check in. Do I have that right?
First let me say, that I in no way expect that our room requests will be able to be filled. I kept them simple, listed in order of priority, and will make the most of whatever beautiful room we get! I know from other posts that many of you will want to remind me of these things...
...and I thank you, but I am clear on this.
But, just so that I am prepared, is it reasonable to ask the CM at check-in if waiting might get us, say, connecting rooms, if we are not initially given them? Or to simply ask whether any connecting rooms are available in another long house, say?
DH and I are very low-conflict, never-rock-the-boat types, so we don't want to ask about other rooms if it is seen as rude or creates a big hassle for the CM! However, if this is not a big deal, and it's easy for them to check for other rooms, I don't want to avoid it just because I'm too afraid to speak up...
Experiences or advice?
