Waht is a tag fairy?

I have been on the boards for a couple of weeks and have seen this mentioned. What is a tag fairy?

I thought I would answer, since you weren't getting one.

It appears the tag fairies are different people who create silly phrases and add them under your screen name. Other than that, I really don't know much about them.

There's whole thread profiling the tag fairy(ies); if I can find it on the Community Board, I'll post it for you.

The tag fairy "tags" posters with things they have said that the fairy has found amusing. They also have the power to put tags in color. One never knows when a tag might turn up. Clearly, I am lacking in amusing antics b/c I have no yet been tagged.
