Hi all, I'm quite new to the DIS and havent posted much before but had to post this because I am just soooooooo excited :cheer2: . Me and DBF have just booked to go to WDW next year, something we thought would not be possible for at least a few years :woohoo:

Problem is now I have 237 days, 13 hours and 18 minutes to go and dont know how to pass the time without running up the walls...Im already bouncing off them :mickeyjum :tigger: :sulley: :ccat: :donald: :stitch: :dumbo: :goofy: .

Anyone got any ideas how I can pass the time???

Order the WDW, Seaworld and Universal planning videos and watch those! Plus you can start planning your holiday! You could start putting together a rough plan of what you will do on each day and what restaurants you want to eat at and then you willl be ready to book your ADRs when the window opens. :goodvibes

Oops forgot to say welcome to the Dis!

Thanks Jen, its nice to be here :)

Planning DVD's - I've already got the DVD's and we are about to watch them in a min...I love watching them they always make me well up

Rough plan - I have already made a rough plan, well you would probably call it a pretty detailed plan as it has every day mapped out already including all our ADR's, tours, excursions etc and another plan of when we can book everything - I'm a bit of a planning freak, although I call it super-organised :lmao:

ADR's - I had pretty much planned what restaurants we would be eating in before we even thought about booking it, then when we decided to go a few months back I started writing them all out and trying to fit them in my plan - now there pretty much sorted :cheer2:

Any other ideas?

Hmmm well as your planning is all done you will just have to spend loads of time on here and share your excitement with us!! I like reading peoples trip reports, you can pick up ideas and tips there. :goodvibes

Yes I love trippies, although Ive only just joined I have been coming on here looking at trippies and info. for a while. Finally decided it was time to join since we were booking again.

Theres a few things I need to do a bit more research on so that will pass a bit of time, and might also do a pre-trippie soon:wizard:

Yes thats a great idea from Jen, spend loads of time on here with us, telling us all about your plans, the time will soon fly, great news and welcome to the Dis:goodvibes :goodvibes

Hi there, welcome aboard:cheer2:
Like others have said, these boards are a great way to pass the time! I read tons of trip reports to see how others do it, i watch the planning dvds, and i read the guide books cover to cover, like Unofficial Guide. So pretty much what everyone else has said:rotfl: Hopefully you'll pick up some tricks, tips, and hidden treasures to find in disney world, like riding the front of the monorail or looking for hidden mickeys;) There are so many little things you can find on these boards. most of all, have fun with it:thumbsup2

I agree with Jen, reading trip reports and sharing in other people's excitement is a great way to pass time until your hols come round
